How to Test +
  • Write down where your clickers are before you change anything.
  • One change at a time — compression OR rebound, 1–2 clicks, then ride.
  • Ride 2–4 laps per change on the same rough lines. Don't ride around the bump you're testing.
  • Set sag first and confirm the spring rate matches your weight/ability.
  • Bleed the fork air screws every time you ride.
  • Air pressure climbs as the fork heats up — set/check it cooled to ambient. On the air fork, 2 psi ≈ one full spring rate, so stay within ~1 psi of baseline.
  • Faster riders run stiffer for control; slower riders run softer for comfort.
  • A bottom or two per lap is fine — that's the suspension doing its job.
